This picture of the busses on 5th Avenue (just above Washington Square Park) was taken on July 10, 1913.  Below is the view almost 100 years later!  If you haven’t already seen the beautiful renovation of the park, make sure to head over while the weather still permits to catch some live music, street performances, and artists at work!  After the Southwest corner is finished, the 16 million dollar project which began in December of 2007 will be complete.
