Happy Birthday, Frank Sinatra!  The singer and actor was born Francis Albert “Frank” Sinatra on December 12, 1915 in Hoboken, NJ. He would have turned 98 today!  Here are 3 Sinatra performances to watch in his honor:

1. “That’s Life”:  This song has been recorded so many times and Sinatra’s 1966 version is the most popular! The song was first recorded by Marion Montgommery in 1964.  Other artists who recorded “That’s Life”:  Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Van Morrison, Michael Bolton, Michael Bublé and more.)

2. “The Girl from Ipanema”: I love this video of Frank Sinatra and Antônio Carlos Jobim performing Jobim’s 1962 bossa-nova favorite.

3.  “The Birth of the Blues”:  This 1965 video of Sammy Davis Jr., Johnny Carson, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra shows how much they genuinely enjoyed performing together.  What a great musical moment!
